Expo Booth
With the help of Nial Spencer, we designed a three pillar booth as seen in the initial sketches. This allowed us to keep the booth modular by creating two smaller pillars that could be moved independent of each other and the main pillar. The modularity also allowed for future redesigns of the logo and pillar wraps.
Booth Fabrication
To create these rounded pillars, we used Sakrete Sonotubes due to the lightweight nature of cardboard, durability, and cost. Modified truss screws were used to prevent damage to the cardboard tubes. The Minwax Natural Wood Finish and Minwax Fast-Drying Satin Polyurethane were applied to all plywood to help compliment the green accent.
